DIXON, Montquence - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Mont Dixon, 84, of 423 Crockett, Covington, died at 7 a.m. Thursday (Oct 7, 1971) at his home. Born March 7, 1887, in Mound Township of Warren County he was the son of Henry and Nancy Ricketts Dixon. He was married Nov. 6, 1921, to Mary Elizabeth Lovett, who survives. Mr. Dixon had been a carpenter most of his life and had farmed in early life. He had resided in Covington most of his life and was a former resident of the Foster area. Other survivors include a son, Orrie of Vermontville, Mich.; a granddaughter, Mrs. Gracie Blankeship of Dennison, Tex.; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by three sisters, three brothers and a foster grandson. The body is at the Bodine & Shelby Funeral Home. Arrangements are incomplete.
